Charles H. Strawter Design Inc. provides licensed landscape architectural and urban design services to public and private clients throughout the United States. Our practice is built on a growing network of cooperative working relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and strategic partners.

Charles H. Strawter, ASLA, ISA, began practicing as a sole proprietor in June of 2006 and organized as Charles H. Strawter Design, Inc. on November 27th, 2007.

Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
Charles H. Strawter Design Inc. is a Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The company’s certification will satisfy government-mandated diversity requirements for companies in California. The certification qualifies Charles H. Strawter Design Inc. to be considered for business with organizations which seek vendor relationships with organizations owned and operated by women or minorities.

We are currently the only Black owned Landscape Architecture firm certified with the California Unified Certification Program in Los Angeles County.
